Re: LEGO Pirates Imperial Flagship $150 in amazon
It was enough to entice me, since I was pissed that Lego cancelled my IF from Friday :p. And it's still way cheaper than the Canadian price.

Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
@ Thundarr: I ordered within 2-3 minutes of the sale starting. I received a confirmation email yesterday, when my order was "in process". Today the whole order (10195, 10198, 10210) has been in "customer service" status since this morning. 10210 was cancelled on me this afternoon...

Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
Hmmm.. my order status is now "customer service". That can't be good if everything I've ordered is sold out...

"Poorly" = they taped a plastic bag around the Lego box. In my last two orders from their last sale anyway...

Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
Damn, hadn't noticed that. So they removed the discounts and screwed up my address. Hooray.
EDIT: Actually, the total on the order is correct for all the discounts and free shipping, despite the numbers not adding up at all. So I guess I'm ok

Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
My order from last night is now visible, and the 10% off, the holiday set and the free shipping have been added on. However, the 25% discounts for the items themselves have completely disappeared. And the 10% is calculated based on having the 25% off :s (I saved the webpage though, so I'm not totall...

Re: [US/CA] Lego Black Friday Deals 2011
It says they're having technical difficulties. I didn't get the promo, the 10% off or the free shipping (or any VIP points for that matter). But... order placed :)
I'll just ring them up on Monday if they don't fix it automagically.

Re: [WORLD] BN.com 30% off USA MSRP on Non-Licensed LEGO
i bought a few on a whim. I've only built Mirage and the big Bumblebee in car forms so far. Brick quality is very close to Lego, instructions are good, and the cars look great. Stickers are extra sticky and harder to correct than Lego ones. And sometimes (ie Mirage autobot symbol) you're supposed to...

Re: importing lego into canada tax?
I'm pretty sure private sales (cash/cheque, not from a store) w/out a receipt shouldn't be taxed, just as they are not taxed here. Duty shouldn't apply to toys either afaik. Handling is another matter however. The couriier companies sometimes charge their own handling fees.

Re: [WORLD] BN.com 30% off USA MSRP on Non-Licensed LEGO
Hooray! Just ordered mine along with the new city space stuff. Incidentally, US msrp + B&N shipping is cheaper than the Canadian toysrus prices at 20% off + HST :p
