$119 isn't 20% off. It's $10 off I believe. MSRP is $129.99.

This is in Canada. Our MSRP is $149.99. And actually $129.99 US is closer to $175 Canadian at the moment, which sucks.

And just to clear up my incoherent rambling. $149.99 becomes $99.99 with the 20% and $20 off.

Yeah...let's see if they survive. Their LEGO offerings and sales this last holiday season were dismal but then they've been declining for a couple years now...less variety, less stock and fewer sales.

Are people buying this set because they want it? Or for investment? I'm feeling like this set is probably one of those over-produced sets by Lego and many retailers will have huge inventory of it. Wasn't Walmart selling this cheap a little while a go? 33% isn't bad... but wouldn't it be more worth while to wait for 20% or 25% discounts with bonuses (e.g. at TRU?) and then you get to pick the sets you really want?

It shows as not-available once I get to the checkout. Too bad, I'm sorry I missed this. It's actually a fantastic deal for parts.

If you bought 2, you could get $50 off instead of just $20 off one with a different coupon code. So works out to $95 each. You know that "magic" number of 10 cents (USD) per part? Well, $95 CAD is $67 USD. For 1200 parts. That's 5.5 cents a part. And if you don't want the minifigs you could sell those off and recover about half your purchase price (current 6-month value of those minifigs plus the dark red helmet on BrickLink is $57, but you can sell them for less if you want to move them fast).

1200 parts for about $30 USD net? wow!
