I was there too. Quite a line! They were also giving away copies of LEGO Universe (the online game). The store is smaller compared to the store @ Downtown Disney in Anaheim, CA, but the PAB section did seem to be slightly larger (although they did repeat a lot of pieces).

No, I didn't; missed that one. I was too focused on keeping my son in my sight lol. Ok, and I was looking around the store while standing in line for red price tag stickers indicating sales. As far as I could tell, they only had some keychains, but I didn't look too closely (obviously) and the store was packed...

I was maybe amongst the first 20 people in line I think (got there around 9am)? Went to the cashier on the left and I saw that she gave out the game to the customer in front of me as well. That said, she almost forgot to give me the minifigures. I think perhaps they were so flustered with the credit card issues they were having that maybe they forgot to give you the game? Shame... :(

gabriellee11 thanks for the pictures. That's cool that they have printing on the back. Also the #/500 is a nice touch on the box. Were you really 9th in line? Fun stuff.

I hate not having a Lego Store within less than 4 hours from me :( Never near any new Lego openings either...

Anyone get a minifig set that wants to sell it? ;) (Wishful thinking)
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

They were handing out free copies of Lego Universe on Sunday without even purchasing anything. The PAB section was full of 2x8 bricks in various colors, The Disneyland Lego store has a lot more PAB variety. I'm sure the variety will come over time, but I wasn't super impressed.

Overall the store is really nice, but a lot smaller than I was picturing. They had tons of stock though! That was a plus. Even on Sunday I was able to get a Sensei Wu Ninjago. That one was for me, my son wanted Kai and Zane :) $38 for those 3 was really hard to swallow! Holy cow! Those might be the last ones we buy.

Huh, weird. They must've had a lot of people use PAB. When I was there on Saturday, there were a lot of nice pieces like trans-clear and trans-black 2x1 bricks. And lots of useful pieces like 2x1, 3x1 and 4x1 blacks, whites, light bluish gray and dark bluish gray.
