Ordered three with three separate orders...each order with only 1 figures (I have prime account, so shipping is free)...

Ordered yesterday... just got three separated email saying my order has been shipped...

so yup, you can order as much as you want...but limited to 1 per order

Same here and I feel a little guilty (for the trees)! I ordered one late Sunday night and another Monday evening. BOTH are scheduled to arrive today (I have a Prime trial so free 2 day shipping, but this is really one day). The warehouse must be close to me b/c that is kind of crazy. They are currently out for delivery and the UPS guy should be here later this afternoon. :D

I do feel bad for all the extra paperwork/packaging etc. And I'm tempted to order another few but how many of these guys does my um daughter (cough) need? ;) OK maybe one is for me.

Seriously, this is what I don't like about LEGO "Exclusive Minifigures" - they don't retain any semblance of their exclusivity. I didn't fall for it with LEGO Universe, and ended up getting the game and Nexus Astronaut for $10. This time I fell for it, had a major headache even trying to get the figure, and now everyone can buy one whether they pre-ordered the game or not.

I guess the only truly exclusive minifigures were those 7 individually decorated figures included with the "LEGO Pods" used to promote the release of LEGO Universe.

I hear what you are saying. I'm guessing that the pre-sale didn't go as well as they had thought and now the warehouse has an abundance of these minifigures they are trying to unload.

I ended up buying the PotC video game (which we have yet to open) to get the free figure. I'm glad I only paid $39.99 because I have a bad feeling the game will be a lot less in 6 months or so. But the good thing is that my daughter saw a commercial for the Lego PotC game and she seemed interested in it so I think we should give it a try. I am tempted to return it since I was able to buy just the figs. Decisions, decisions!

Well, I don't mind buying the game at full price, the LEGO video games are the most fun games I've ever played. LPotC is a fantastic addition to their ranks. I was going to buy the game when it came out anyway, so the $10 credit and pre-order figure were just icing on the cake.

Has anyone tried to place two orders of just the minifigs back to back? There's a prompt asking if you want to place the duplicate order. When you click yes, does the order go through or does it take you back to the review order page (thus not letting you place the order)? The latter happened to me, so I'm wondering if there's a glitch in the system.

I got that warning yesterday, i think it did take me back to the review page but then clicked to process the order again and it went through. Today i got two shipping confirmations with two different order numbers

Did amazon pack and ship the minifigure together with your other order (those order to fulfill free shipping)? Or did they ship the minifigure seperately like S@H promotion "ARF Trooper"?
