Awesome. What's the expected price? Piece count? $399 I'm guessing, or maybe I'm off... Won't be getting it, but it's awesome.

I think that's a little high of a guesstimate.harrelmusic wrote:Awesome. What's the expected price? Piece count? $399 I'm guessing, or maybe I'm off... Won't be getting it, but it's awesome.
Re: LEGO 10225 UCS R2-D2
I think around 239.99. Piece count is in the range of 2127. This is according to Brickipedia. Maybe worth a buy with a TRU sale down the road with the Imperial shuttle? I'm sure it would be limit one with B1G50 off.
Re: LEGO 10225 UCS R2-D2
I believe it's supposed to be somewhere in the ballpark of the new Town Hall Modular. So not much more/less than that one!
Not too bad for a very unique set!

Re: LEGO 10225 UCS R2-D2
I don't think it will be above USD$200, I'm guessing (hoping) it will be only $160-180 as there is only one minifig.
Re: LEGO 10225 UCS R2-D2
Would've been nice if it was motorized.
I found it insulting that the young guy said he came in to do the set justice. I hope that was a joke.

I see the piece count doesn't look as high as I might have thought at first. It is Star Wars though.

I had the same reaction -- perhaps they'll re-edit before posting again. Kind of made him sound like a jerk.slacker wrote: I found it insulting that the young guy said he came in to do the set justice. I hope that was a joke.

Wrong again for me - I think it's some quality dry British humor. Lesson learned: don't watch it on an iPhone and try to figure out how many pieces it is or the subtleties of the humor!harrelmusic wrote:I had the same reaction -- perhaps they'll re-edit before posting again. Re: LEGO 10225 UCS R2-D2
I'm pretty sure they both were just joking around about it. If you watch the end they're both laughing and others in the background you can hear them laughing as well...
Probably just some good ole jousting at each other. But yeah I agree initially it sound like he was being an a@@ and jerk...
Also, I think this is going to be a really nice addition to the SW collection and mine as well and I'm hoping to get a Yoda 7194 at a reasonable price...
