Something to look into- A semi-local Walmart is about to remodel. I overheard the electronics manager telling an employee that all the display televisions were to be deeply discounted to speed up the remodeling. They had a pretty nice selection of clearance Lego and i had already purchased some a few months ago. On a whim I contacted the toy manager and asked her if they would be willing to further discount the clearance Lego thinking perhaps they might have the same attitude Re the remodeling. She said yes after approval from the store manager and they knocked off an additional 25%!! Ended up spending about $500. Got 6 Quinjet Aerial Battles for $25.50 ea, about 40 of the $12 friends sets for $5.50 ea, 4 of the 6914 T Rex for $7.50 ea, 2 of the 6231 Speeda demon for $9.00 ec, about 75 of the Friends polybags like Summer Picnic and Ice Cream stand for $1.99 ea, 6 Harry potter Knight Bus for $14.00 ea and so on. I don't know if the remodeling is nation-wide but check around. Won't hurt to ask.
