Lego "Batman The Movie" at Best Buy this week

Post by garpike » Sun May 19, 2013 9:28 pm

I was looking thru the ads this week and "LEGO Batman: The Movie - DC Super Heroes Unite" that comes with a special Clark Kent minifig is on sale TUESDAY!

So far the best price I have seen is $9.99 in the Best Buy ad, but I think Walmart and other are still doing price matching.

I must have missed the Amazon price. It's back up to $13.99.

edit: Doh, I think you were talking about the DVD version

I pre-ordered it, but I had them refund me $4.40 to bring it down to the $9.99 price. Took like 5 minutes via online chat with Amazon support.

Is it worth it to pay another $4 for Blu Ray at Target?

I had the same question, I got the blue ray since it has 3 different formats, and $4 doesn't change my perception... plus the boxes at Best Buy were beat up like crazy.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

I got the dvd at Best Buy. Batman The Movie:DC Super Heroes Unite is a CGI cartoon (not stop motion animation); however, the Batman bend cartoon was very cute and it had a clever plot. Beyond the Clark Kent minifig this package also has quite a few extra features too. The extras on stop motion video is really nice intro (this topic could easily be expanded into an entire series of videos). The extra short fan video on Black Friday which was really funny and something I think I'll probably watch every Thanksgiving Holiday! The three extra Bonus Cartoons are from the new Batman series "The Brave and the Bold" of which I'm not a fan of - I like the older 1990's "Batman: The Animated Series."
