Our local Kmart in California has the Simpsons figures for $2.99. Not a sale or anything that I could tell. They just had a little price sticker on the big cardboard end cap display. Might be worth your time, if you're looking for them cheap.

Yes. It IS Meijer's that is usually $2.99. Although they haven't seen them lately at my local Meijer's the Simpson's minifigs have always been 2.99 there.

I've seen one Target in Indianapolis that has them for 2.99. All other local Targets have them at 3.99.
