Is the Collectible Minifigs series 2 furor over?

I said this before and I'll say it again, I really wish TLC would make the most desireable fig the most common, and the "meh" figure rare. That way, people will be hunting the Meh figure, and it both reduces the possible shelf warmers, and makes more consumers happy. It is a capitalistic win-win.

Never happen. It's like Trading Card Games, if a rare card is a coaster -- a useless card -- people scream bloody blue murder but, if it's a good card people are happy.

I think there is a big difference between Minifig collectors and CCGs. I think the Minifig market is a lot closer to the Action Figure market as they are intended for diarama's and displays rather than game play. You will not find regular old Stormtroopers or Cobra troops warming pegs, you'll find The ugly three breasted woman from Jabba's palace warming pegs.

depends on the area, I find my local TRU still has Crimson Guard 5 packs on clearance and not saelling Clone Troopers warming the pegs, it seems like while resellers are still buying for army builders, the army builders are not buying anymore.

I mean even the Spartans from the MFC line is dropping in price, it used to go for up to $15 by itself it is now going for less then $7 by itself, and alot of resellers are now finding themselves sitting with a bunch of product not moving.

The Euro barcode sheet is no good in the US, she needed the US one.

She didn't realize that until I told her and that's when she took everything. I wasn't sure if TRU still had them so I didn't bother telling her. When I did check, they had over 4 boxes.

There is only one Walmart by me and it's really ghetto. If they get them, they would all be stolen.

There were quite a few open packages at my Walmart. It's not particularly bad or anything but they put all the CMF2 minifigs on the clearance shelf and that shelf is a terrible mess.

This is not the case in canada. No minifigures at any tru or walmart here. The staff there told me they will not get anymore. :(

I see them sporadically in Canada, saw some spartans at a TRU and I didnt even buy them!

More and more places have these and LegoShop still has them after a month of release. For series 1, I think they sold out in 2 weeks after release.

Been to TRU yesterday and bought the Karate Master & Pharoh! I'll collect some more next week!
