Oh and one more thing. The clerk insisted that I needed to buy a Lego CONSTRUCTiON set. Meaning HER view was that it needed to be some sorta city themed construction worker lego set. I told her that the minifigures were construction sets because you still had to build the figures. She chuckled.

Very true. I think I have a weee little bit more knowledge on the verbage of LEGO World than the retail girl I had. In any case i'm glad some people have had luck with this. I'd love to go back and try again and explain my case, but I just have a feeling they would give me grief again because of the wordplay of the coupon OR that technically the little minipacks are not in a box and not considered a "construction" set. I may call TRU customer service line to have them explain to me what they think the coupon means, but then again I may end up with someone who agrees with them.

I'm almost to the point of ebay'n them. I could justify it as I'm playing MSRP + tax + finders fee for someone taking the time to buy a box/sort/what not. .. or just wait and take my chances with lego.com or when they show up at walmarts/targets hopefully.

No republic shuttle or seps shuttle to be seen. The store had quite the over stock on xwings and solar sailers occupying multiple shelf slots usually for other sets and alot of stock stacked to the ceiling. I handed off my coupon to a couple buying for toys for tots and left the store. There was only 1 cmf found and not worth the personal hazard of the checkout line today.

I picked up one Solar Sailor and Tie Defender on extreme discount! I missed the first time they were selling the Tie Defenders cheap but I think this sale is the same if not better! There were plenty of both of those sets left and more separatist shuttles in shipping boxes in front of the shelves.

Did the same thing because they didn't have any sep shuttle. But I did get a free series 3 minifig since they didn't have any more speeder bikes for the promotion.
