I used to work at retail too and I know what you mean but I don't think folks here are anywhere as bad as those store customers.......unclephn wrote:While I understand exactly what you mean, I think you could've worded it better. While yes, companies should make their customers their top priority, they should never feel obligated to bend over backwards at the 'demands of a king'. I work in retail, and customers who have that sense of entitlement are the worst type of customers, and as such, don't derserve anything.harry99 wrote:The customer is king - that should be the mantra of every company... sadly it isn't anymore.
Sorry for my little soapbox moment. im not trying to ruffle anyone's feathers. It just baffles me that for a company that does so many things right, many people nitpick at the smaller things that don't go their way.

Re: I e-mailed Lego About Their Lousy Black Friday Sale
While this isn't much of a sale, I haven't seen anything better at any other retailer. Personally I was happy with LEGO's sale because I got two sets I want (Cargo Train and Seaside House) at a 28% total discount, which is a good price point for LEGO.
I wonder how many of those complaining the loudest are resellers who are lamenting their shrinking profit margins...
For the rest of us, let's face it, this isn't a good Black Friday for LEGO deals, let's hope overall sales are low and the retailers slash prices as the Holidays get closer.
