[USA] Target January 2012 Clearance Finds

All the spinners at my Target were $3, but were gone - except for just one Lord Garmadon that had fallen behind the Ninjago display - which I am able to reach.

FYI - Since a lot of folks are posting about other LEGO Sets (not just the polybags) on Clearance, I changed the title to "Target January 2012 Clearance Finds" to be more clear.

Found an Ice Dragon for $12.75 today. I think it was a return, though, as I haven't seen that set around since well before Christmas. Everything else was still at 20-30% off.

Fantastic find! I am jealous as I haven't seen one dragon (on sale or not) in the 6 targets I have visited.

Went to the Target in San Jose, CA (at The Plant, Curtner&Monterey).

They had two toy clearance aisles there, right in the toy section. Of what I can remember, I saw that large Ninjago Garmadon's Fortress set for something like $8 off (a few copies of that). No games at all that I could find. Another large set on clearance was a City airplane set (maybe $7 off or so I think). Beyond that, not a while lot else. Holiday clearance area was gone (was hoping to find HP polybags on the cheap maybe).

Edit: Also saw a couple of the smaller vehicle-based Atlantis sets on a slight clearance.

I have to admit, I keep having to remind myself that this is still a decent discount - I'm still a little disappointed I wasn't able to find any of the dragons at Walmart for 50% off!

I read somewhere (perhaps here?) that salvage day for holiday clearance at Target is today. I did find some HP polybags yesterday, but they were clearing out the shelves at the time I found them (I was worried that the polys wouldn't ring up, but they did).

Still the same 15% off on most of the sets and a lot of the sets are in pretty bad shape.
I did manage to find a few Target practice and HP polybags for .34 each...

check your target for clearance sets. any remaining sets should be at 70 or 75% by next week.

I've been checking everyday for the past few weeks. Target is still rather proud of their LEGO. All Atlantis is 30%, but waiting for at least 50% to buy. Maybe tomorrow, maybe not.

My local Targets are hanging on to the LEGO at 20-30% off with such grim determination, I doubt we'll see 70% off here...

yep....pretty much 20/30% here. Nothing interesting. Pharaoh's Quest at 30%....come on! The best I did was a few games at 70%.

t-6 is not even on clearance over here, sigh... Mostly just PQ, Atlantis, Ninjago and some Hero Factory.

Stopped at Target this am for some house stuff. The toys were 50% in a lot of cases, though I was hoping for more discount on the ATLANTIS and PQ (I mean hasn't the Sphinx been at 24.99 forever?). I did find some HP and Target Practice Poly bags....and when I checked the prices they were no longer listed and not allowed to be sold. Humbug- was hoping for that last thrill before the dark period until July when the sales start again.

It looks like all the Christmas stuff (Harry Potter and Target Practice polys) has been salvaged then if they are ringing up "item not found". Oh well, the hunt was fun while it lasted!
