So I bit the bullet and bought a SDCC Bizarro on ebay. I paid 132.50....way more then I wanted but I really wanted the mini figure. The seller had 2 of the Bizarro's and only took a picture of one and used the same picture for both auctions.
Well the picture posted to the auction Bizarro looks fine...however thats not what I received.
This is the sellers picture.
The problem is with the face printing. There is a spot missing under the right eyebrow and on the lower right side of the mouth.
The defects are not present in the sellers picture which is why I actually bid on it. I am trying to work it out with the seller. The seller is offering a discount, unfortunately I have no clue how much of a discount is fair. Any suggestions? It kinda bugs me, especially the mouth.
Thanks.

I would contact TLG directly.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

I had an issue with one of the lego promo retail stores I sold on Ebay. The shipping box arrived fine, but the actual box inside was crushed. Perhaps due to my overzealousness to ensure safe shipping, who knows. The buyer didn't want to return it for full refund to me and didn't ask for a partial refund but instead told me it "it would be an expensive lesson for him". I offered and gave him a 30% refund anyway. I received a happy and thankful email and that he was very surprised, he also gave me a glowing feedback as well. Hope this helps.
My Dark Age was 41 years.. weep for me.

I did not think about calling TLG. Since it was a promo I figured they would tell me that much and that there were no replacement parts. I just want a new face. I love the figure and I am ok with the price paid. Sure I wish it was cheaper but I worry they will not be in future sets and I need someone else to beat Superman down. I will give them a call. Thanks.

Aww well called Lego, was told since it was not mass produced there are no replacement parts. Worth a try I guess.
This seller is kinda novice. He keeps putting it on me. Asking what I wanted to do with the situation. Even as far as asking what I think a fair discount offer is. I have had issues with purchases before but normally the seller makes the offers to correct the issue and suggest refund price stuff like that. I see what these are going for and while I believe the price I paid to be kinda middle of the pack. I have yet to see a clearly labeled damaged one sell.

Will you regret keeping him with the flaws? if so, no discount will suffice.

You could try and return for a full refund maybe. And then buy someone else's fig, making sure to inquire about the print quality.

If I were you, I will first contact TLC to check if there is any replacment.
If no replacment from TLC, then ask for full refund from seller. If you were willing to spend that much on a minifig, I don't think you will opt for getting 30% to 50% refund from seller for a defective item. The 30% to 50% off offer would not mend the missing tooth from Bizarro.

He will only discount it the 32.50 putting it at 100.00 cost. Which I think is to much. So I plan to send it back tomorrow.
Should I start a claim with ebay to have that extra insurance that I will get my money back? I will be sending it with delivery confirmation for sure.

It is better to open a case with ebay, and make sure you have proof for the delivery back to sender. Talk to ebay and see what they say.
