I haven't checked to see what is discounted, but the fine print says "LEGO toy offer applies to Star Wars, City, Super Heroes, and Ninjago" so there you go.

Also the book deal is "Lego Minifigures by Year" for $20, although I think it can be had for less at Costco.

If your a Plum Rewards member you get it for $19.00 - slightly cheaper. If you get two (someone to give to someone else) you can combine it with the coupon (tested it) - so $38.00 - $5.00 = $33.00 - so $16.50 per copy :)

These 20% off sales are not what they used to be... there was a time when you could use the $5 off coupon with all orders over/at $25 total... with the free shipping good discounts could be had for smaller sets at that point. No longer possible as the coupon won't work for already discounted non-book items.

^ I know, they even changed that. Back then it was $5 off $25 or even no limit (it just made sense to order min. $25 as that's when free shipping started and there wasn't the option to ship to stores yet).

For a time the free shipping limit was in place before the coupon was applied. Meaning that you reached free shipping at $25 pre-tax and pre-coupon; then the coupon was applied. So literally you could pay $20 (plus tax) and still have free shipping. They did change that change that a while back though.

Indeed - things are not quite as good anymore. Albeit BN still has select sets that allow the coupons to be applied (most recent ones). But their coupons don't have the same value anymore. 15% off even a larger set doesn't help too much.
